Melbourne Seadoo 300 Challenge

What a great day at the National Watersports Centre for the inaugural Melbourne Seadoo 300 Challenge. Two practice laps and one timed lap put competitors in the running for a new Seadoo Spark, including a trailer from Easytow and 1 year insurance from Club Marine.

Throughout the sessions 75 competitors mastered their way through a marked bouy course on the new RXP-X 300hp Seadoo. The top 5 recorded lap times then swapped over to a new 3 Seater RXT-X 300hp Seadoo.

THAT’S WHEN THE ACTION BEGAN.. With the course tightened, navigating the 300hp 3 seater around the track proved trickier than it seemed. With Nathan and Shaun out of the competition it was down to the last three. With less than 2 seconds separating the final three one man mastered the machine and came out on top and that was Simon Scaturchio.

This event would not have been possible without the help and support of the VJSBA, Club Marine, Easytow trailers, BRP Australia and Go Pro.

Stay tuned, Go Pro in conjunction with Melbourne Seadoo will release an edited You Tube clip on this exciting event soon!”
