For the eighth year running, Yamaha WaveRunners Australia has proudly stepped-up as the major sponsor of the 2015 Yamaha Rip ‘N Ride 8, which is set to rock the coastal suburb of Cronulla on September 18-19. Renowned around the World as the premier surf PWC freeride event of the calendar, the Yamaha Rip ‘N Ride is shaping up to yet again deliver the biggest and sickest freeride tricks ever witnessed on Australian shores.

Australian social freeride club – Ozfreeride.com, has once again provided the forum for the Rip ‘n Ride with the 110 rider entry tickets selling-out within 7 minutes on April 20, 2015. With the annual-event book to capacity, the rider-entry list spans far-and-wide with international entries from the USA, Europe, Asia and South America.

“Social freeride events like the Yamaha Rip ‘n Ride is the ideal platform for riders to learn and showcase their unique talents in a fun, safe and controlled environment,”  said Iain MacLeod, National Sales Co-ordinator for Yamaha WaveRunners.

“In addition to the hotly-contested competition, the team operate rider development workshops, which allows the riders to mix it with the pros and learn some new tricks.”

As the main-event of the freeride calendar, the Yamaha Rip ‘n Ride has grown in size year-after-year, quadrupling in competitors and attendance since its conception in 2008. For 2015, the Yamaha RNR8 is destined to be the biggest Freeride event to date.

As always, spectators and competitors are in for a treat with big-name aerial titles up for grabs and the legendary presentation after party hosted by Northies Hotel, Cronulla.

The award-presentation is set to award each entry with a sponsor-donated prize, with the top prize a brand-new Yamaha SuperJet valued at over $11,300.

The highly anticipated Yamaha Rip ‘N Ride 8 is set to kick-off at Cronulla NSW on Friday September 18 thru to Sunday 20 Sep 2015.
