NSWPWC Club Racing Season Opener
The New South Wales Personal Watercraft Club (NSWPWC) kicked off the first of its 2011/2012 events with a closed course circuit race day on Sunday 21 August 2011 at the St George Sailing Boat Club at Sans Souci.
An encouraging turnout on a blustery winters day bodes well for a good season ahead with the days heat races covering the full gamut of jetski horsepower and experience from racing first timers battling the Botany Bay chop to the world finals 400+ hp prepped Seadoo of current Australian flatwater champ James Masterton giving his World Finals boat its first run.
Surprise entry on the day was Liam O’Halloran who many of the older enthusiasts would remember from his many years with Andrew Short Marine was there with his new fitness equipment in the form of a newly aquired Hydrospace.
