NSWPWC Social Day a big success!
A top day on the water at the NSWPWC Social Day with a good turnout of regulars and some new faces taking advantage of the laid back and casual event to introduce themselves, ask questions, ride their ski’s or try out racing around a closed course.
Supported by Nautilus Marine Insurance and held at the St George Sailing Club at Sans Souci the Social Day is a Christmas event for families as well as an opportunity for those with PWC licences to try out a proper closed course race track under the guidance of State and National champions and club members.
Roads and Maritime and the AJSBA were in attendance as well hosting stands and informing participants of all the latest information regarding racing and PWC use in NSW and nationally.
A special appearance from the Maritime PWC Safety Campaign Ambassador Rob Shehadie was a bonus with a short talk from Rob focussing on the safe operation of PWC in the boating environment and the history of the now famous ‘Take it Easy’ PWC campaign that ran in 2011.
Sydney Seadoo, Wollongong City Jet Skis and Coast to Coast Boating were also in attendance.
