Luke Day wins worlds toughest endurance race

Australia’s Dual Junior World Champion Luke Day has successfully piloted a GP class stand up ski with USA Pro rider Dave Hardenburger to win the Mark Hahn Memorial 300 Endurance race this morning at Lake Havasu Arizona USA.

The team has smashed all previous stand up lap time records for the stand up class and set a new world record for most laps completed by a stand up ski in the history of the race.

This is the longest Personal Watercraft race in the world, covering a total of 300 tough miles in 30 successive laps of a ten mile course, starting off the beach at Crazy Horse and running north along the Arizona shoreline, turning towards Havasu Landing and running down the California shore nearly to Site Six, and back to Crazy Horse to complete a lap.
