It is always best to publicise any motions or ideas so that the members are able to consider them before attending. This saves wasting time at the meeting. The AJSBA has a number of issues as usual which need to be sorted and the best place for that is the AGM.
All positions will be declared vacant. Nominations for positions can also be sent to the secretary.
The accounts will be presented unaudited. This is normal as last year the audit has not been completed by the accountants until later in the year.
Remember only members can vote but non members can be elected and once confirmed in office the meeting can move that they become members.
Proxy forms need to be sent to the secretary at least 48 hours prior to the meeting as per the meeting rules.
As I have said before those coming to the meeting should remember to vote for the good of the sport and not to satisfy some personal whim which would disadvantage their fellow members.
