The NSW PWC Association is product to announce that Sea-Doo BRP are presenting the NSW Flat Water Titles on Sunday 15 Mar 2009 at the St George Sailing Club at Sans Souci in Sydney's south.

PIERRE MAIXENT TAKES OUT YAMAHA FREERIDE AUSTRALIAN OPEN |

GOLD COAST, QLD; The 1st annual Yamaha Freeride Australian Open was held over the weekend and it was the Frenchmen Pierre Maixent that took home top spot and a brand new Yamaha Superjet with a brilliant performance of freeriding throughout the day
The event kicked off in clean 2ft conditions on Saturday morning at Phillip Park on the Gold Coast, with 14 riders invited for the chance to be crowned Yamaha Freeride Australian Open Champion. Round 1 standouts were Pete Mclouglin, Nick Barton, Pierre Maixent and Jon Cooke, who wowed the judges with an array of big stylish maneuvers and surf riding skills, a surprise casualty in round 1 was US international rider Ross Champion who could not find his rhythm and would have to contest the last chance qualifier to move through to the quarters

The QPWC is raffling a Brand New 2008 Yamaha Superjet on Trailer valued at $12,500.00 RRP. Tickets are $10.00 each with a maximum of 2000 tickets to be sold & tickets are selling quickly. Buy a book of 10 tickets and you have a 1 in 200 chance of winning. Not bad for a new ski.

The Yamaha Freeride Australian Open lights up Phillip Park this Saturday the 21st February with two of the best riders in the world in Pierre Maixent and Ross Champion heading to our shores to take on the leading Australian Riders and battle it out for the crown of Yamaha Freeride Australian Open Champion and to take home a New 09 Yamaha Superjet.
The schedule for the event is as follows
* 7am athletes arrive at site
* 9am competition begins round 1
* 9.45am round 2 begins
* 10.20am runabout demo
* 10.30am quarter finals begin
* 11.15am semi finals begin
* 11.35am runabout demo
* 12.00pm final begins
* 3pm presentation at powersports expo @ gold coast convention centre
* 5pm after party Hooters restaurant Mermaid Beach
So come down and check out all the high flying action as some of the sports best go head to head in the biggest freeride event to hit our shores.
