Sydney International Boat Show opens today (Thursday 31 July)

The Sydney International Boat Show opens today (Thursday 31 July) at the new location at Glebe Island and is jam packed full of every conceivable watercraft available. The three major personal watercraft manufacturer’s are in attendance with Yamaha offering up boat show specials on the 2013 and 2014 VX Cruiser/Deluxe as well as an unbeatable 2.99% finance and 3 year full replacement insurance on all new Waverunners.

Kawasaki fans will be happy with the big K flying in their brand new Supercharged, intercooled inline 4-cylinder Ultra 310LX jetski specially for the show. The 310 features a new dual speaker ‘Jetsound’ with SD, USB and jack connections in the glove box for your media player or phone, massive storage, electric trim,seperate keys for full power and smart learing operation and of course 310hp to play with. Also on display is a 300x fully kitted out with a fishing setup including fish finder and nav.

Sea-Doo’s stand is dominated by the budget priced Spark with five on display as well as the GTX 260, RXP260 and GTR 215.

Adjacent to the Sea-Doo stand is the newcomer to PWC insurance Nautilus Marine who’s area includes stage and seating to host a number of speakers including multi-time Australian Pro Runabout Champion James Masterton.

The show runs from Thursday 31 July to Monday 4 August and remember its no longer at Darling Harbour as the old Exhibition Centre is undergoing renovation.

Free event shuttles are available from the traditional Darling Harbour location to the new exhibition space at Glebe Island.

Be aware that pre-paid parking at Glebe Island is extremely limited so access via Darling Harbour is the best advice.
