National Watersports Centre. Bangholme, Vic, September 25, 2016 – Sea-Doo watercraft dominated the VJSBA Top 5 Shootout, clean sweeping to the top two classes of the event.

Melbourne Sea-Doo and Can-Am have again shown their performance credentials, with its team members finishing 1, 2 and 3 in the Open class ahead of factory backed competition.

“To have clean swept the open class as a dealership, and for Sea-Doo PWC to have done the same in the Mod and 800 classes is a testament to not only the quality team of riders that we have assembled, but also the unmatched performance of Sea-Doo watercraft” said Sam Mosca of Melbourne Sea-Doo and Can-Am, adding “The 300hp RXP-X is untouchable through corners, it’s T3 hull is a large part of our success this weekend”

Making Sea-Doo’s weekend open class results even more impressive, is that they were came on stock, out of the box hulls. The Open Class features carbon fibre, custom race hulls, built by factory teams and raced by factory backed professional riders. Melbourne Sea-Doo and Can-Am riders were able to clean sweep the podium on stock Sea-Doo hulls demonstrating the untouchable performance and quality that Sea-Doo watercraft offer customers.

“We had a nightmare with our custom built race Sea-Doo the night before the race, and despite our best efforts were unable to get it on the water” said Chris Withers “However we were confident that the standard hulled RXP-X that we had as backups would do the job. Turns out we were right!”

In the 800 class, where entry level PWC’s compete the results mirrored the more high powered classes. Sea-Doo Spark models, known for their fun and affordability, proved their performance credentials. Sea-Doo Spark models clean swept the 800 class, and their riders had a ball doing it.
