WORLD SURF MOTO Major Sponsor Announced
Written by Ross Moore
Thursday, 17 April 2008

wms_logo_08_withyam.gifYAMAHA Australia have agreed to be major sponsor of the WORLD SURF MOTO and the Australian Surf Moto Championships at Kingscliffe.

In association with the Presenting Sponsor, Australian PWC Show, they have come on board and the JSCB is grateful for both companies support. Race Site Changed The site of the WSM has been changed from South Kingscliffe beach to the Main Kingscliffe Beach. We now have a fantastic site just 50 metres north of the Beach Club where the presentation will be held. The change was necessitated by the the lack of beach at South Kingscliffe due to the recent major ocean swells. We are indebted to NSW Maritime Safety and the Tweed Shire Council for there understanding and help in securing this site.

JetSports Magazine James Masterton has announced that there will be a professional camera crew in attendance to film a DVD for inclusion in the magazine. The crew have already scoped the site and this will be a wonderful coup for the WSM. If you wish to be part of this you have to be there. The surf is wonderfull and clear. The water is warm and temp is still in the late 20's.

Apology: The JSCB regrets that we have been prevented for making any announcements before this time. There have been a number of people who have put a huge amount of work up to this point. There have been a number of issues which have not been clarified till this week. We understand that nobody knew what was happening but it's happening now and we want the entries now so that it will be a huge success.

SO COME TO KINGSCLIFFE AND HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND.
