Jet ski crash leaves man near death at Botany Bay

A YOUNG man was fighting for his life last night after two jet skis collided in front of horrified onlookers at Botany Bay yesterday. The 25-year-old suffered serious head injuries when the jet ski he was riding collided head-on with another near Brighton-Le-Sands about 10.45am. A nearby boat helped ferry the man to shore where emergency services battled for more than an hour to save his life. A doctor was lowered on to the beach from an ambulance rescue helicopter to help stabilise the man, as grief-stricken...

Tipplers Resort on South Stradbroke Island could finally have its long-awaited licensed restaurant if a development proposal is endorsed by Council on Monday (30/1). NSW Maritime launches Lifejacket website

NSW Minister for Roads and Ports Duncan Gay today launched a safety website designed to promote greater awareness of lifejackets and when to wear them when boating.
